How to choose a PR agency without buying fog
Ask for the masthead, the fee, and exactly what the fee buys before you sign a retainer.
Most agency proposals describe activity: pitches sent, lists built, “relationships.” Those are inputs. Buyers should ask three questions: Which publication will carry the story? What is the all-in price for that URL? What happens if it does not publish?
Trelexa’s model is built around those answers. Membership covers strategy and drafting. Each placement is a catalog line item. If you cannot get those three answers from another firm, you are buying effort, not coverage.
